My Name is Sandra and My Husband Mark and I live on 100 acres in Arnprior a small community just
west of Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Both of us have known and loved German Shepherds all of our lives but until about 10 years ago we never went beyond owning and loving our pet german shepherds.
We started like alot of enthusiasts, hoping to get into obedience, and in fact I managed to get an obedience (CD)degree on my first dog (Tradar's Lucy Honey)"Honni" who was a joy to train and show.

After about 8 years of showing and training we felt we finally knew enough to think about breeding a litter and were lucky enough to have found our foundation bitch "Senta", "Ch. Silverhill's Valley Girl".

She is a very special lady, a tribute to the breed and as a bonus a great producer. "Senta" and Am Ch. Rohans Glass Palace produced our first wonderful litter in 1999. Senta gave us our boy "Big Jake", a very special friend and companion.
Everyone who met him was struck by his presence and special style.
Mark and I love dogs and dog people, we give all breed show handling classes to both adults and the Juniors in the Ottawa Junior Kennel club. We like to give something back to the community. We feel it is important to help newcomers to the show circuit by sharing our experiences and expertise. Our clients are great people and we all have alot of fun.

We have learned alot over the years and realize there is so much more to learn about this wonderful breed of dog. We now know that temperament is the most important characteristic of our dogs, then health , then all the rest.
In our breeding program this is what we strive for.

We worry alot about the German Shepherd Breed and we take every opportunity to educate and inform the public of its wonderful qualities..
